Vacation apartments in Barcelona
Barcelona is one of the largest tourist destinations not only in Europe, but in the world. For a comfortable alternative to hotels, consider choosing short-term apartment rentals in Barcelona that constitute a successful and secure market in Europe.
Rental apartments in Barcelona cost less than hotel rooms of comparable sizes, and yet offer you a real home where you would love to come back after a day out in Barcelona.
You get all the advantages of independent living and working in a rental apartment: you may choose to cook in a fully-equipped kitchen, you may entertain guests in the living room, you have the privacy of your own bedroom. Would you have all that in a hotel? More and more travellers prefer to rent an apartment in Barcelona for these reasons.
If you frequently travel with family or friends, you know how difficult it may be to book adjacent spacious rooms in a hotel. 1-, 2- or 3-bedroom apartments in Barcelona are easy to find. What is more, you pay per apartment, not per guest, which allows you to cut rental costs considerably, and spend quality time together.
Barcelona is a city you would not want to leave and where you would love to come back, but if you are set on more exploring, we also offer apartment, cottage and villa short-term and long-term rentals all over Europe and North America!

Where to stay in Barcelona if you...

...love architecture
Barcelona is the city of modernism. Not only that, but it enjoys countless architecture masterpieces in other styles as well, even though the most famous works belong to the greatest architect of all time, Antoni Gaudí. Central streets of Eixample are where his most beautiful and well-known works – Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, La Sagrada Familia – are located. Staying in Eixample puts you in the heart of the architectural Barcelona.

...want to lounge on the beach
You are spoiled for choice! Barceloneta and Poblenou are both great neighbourhoods for beach vacations. Barceloneta is more central and is a part of the Ciutat Vella with many great restaurants and picturesque streets. It is also quite busy during high season. Poblenou is located to the east from the centre of Barcelona and is a truly great barrio with everything within reach, not to mention that its beaches – Bogatell, Mar Bella, Icaria - are less crowded in summer.

...are a party animal
Barcelona has a great party culture, slightly less rowdy and all-night-like than in Madrid, but having fun here is still the first (and sometimes only) thing on people's minds. Staying in the most ancient part of the city, Gotico, puts you in the middle of the action with many bars, clubs and pubs available within walking distance, not only here, but also in the neighbouring Raval. Weekend nights here can be noisy, but you will be out partying anyway!

...love the alternative, the hip and the edgy
Raval, while still considered the poorest and edgiest part of the Ciutat Vella, has its own unique character beloved by many. Some of Barcelona's greatest bars are found here. It is also the place to find jams, listen to live music, go out dancing, get a modestly-priced beer. Staying in Raval is also relatively cheap. Be careful at night and always be vigilant about your belongings – sadly, many pickpockets hang out in the neighbourhood as well.

...want to live like a local
Your best bet is the wonderful barrio Gracia, located north of Eixample and offering amazing authentic atmosphere, a slightly bohemian feel and a wide array of ethnic restaurants and hip bars. Gracia is the favourite place to be among expats, so you will hear English spoken on the street quite often. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of it, you can also stay in Sant Andreu, a charming area in the northeastern Barcelona, about 20 minutes' metro ride away from the centre. Sant Andreu is very affordable, safe and clean, and has a unique feel to it, just like other residential barrios off the tourist track in Barcelona.

...want to treat yourself
Feeling posh? Want to stay in the most luxurious, majestic place possible? Dreta d'Eixample, especially Passeig de Gracia, is as good as it gets in Barcelona. It is the centre of everything expensive and beautiful in Barcelona, with magnificent restaurants, cocktail bars and boutiques found within reach. While statistically the most expensive areas of Barcelona to live in are Sarria and Pedralbes, these are relatively far out from the town centre – there is no need to tire yourself with these taxi rides! Passeig de Gracia is the place to be: it is no coincidence that it is counted as one of ten most expensive streets in Europe.
