Horta-Guinardó

Horta-Guinardó is the third largest district in Barcelona after Sants-Montjuïc and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, located in the northeastern part of the city and bordered by Eixample, Gracia, Sant Andreu, Nou Barris and Sant Martí. The district is named after two of its eleven neighbourhoods, El Guinardó and Horta, located in the southeastern and the northeastern parts of the area, respectively.

The Horta-Guinardó administrative borders are defined by Carrer Sant Antoni Maria Claret to the south, Passeig de Maragall and Passeig Fabra i Puig to the east, Carrer de Sardenya and Parc del Carmel to the west, and three hills - Collserola, Vall d'Hebron, Riera d'Horta - to the north. Due to the hilly landscape of this part of Barcelona, the district of Horta-Guinardó is significantly zoned and is not very densely populated.

Horta-Guinardó is a relatively well to do area of Barcelona as well, with a mean income index of 82,6 and a median income index of 81,4 (in comparison, Nou Barris has the same index numbers at 58,5 and 55,0, respectively).
