The tagline of Cornelia & Co is "Your daily picnic store", and indeed, here you can not only have a meal, a cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine, but buy fresh bread, jamГіn, wines and other delicacies. Cornelia & Co is the yesterday's fashion: it is a very trendy restaurant still, but it is going out of style for no other reason but the fickle nature of Barcelona restaurant-goers.
Their menu does not change, so if you visit often, you may find yourself a bit bored or, alternatively, comforted by the lack of surprises. Goat cheese salad served with honey and burrata cheese are two top appetizers recommended. For the main courses, Cornelia & Co offers a few types of hamburgers (that is to say, ground meat, as in Barcelona a hamburger does not necessarily have bread) and pasta dishes, and for dessert you are well-advised to go with coulant or apple pie. Their all-time dessert champion, chocolate soup with sea salt, has been recently removed from the menu, which makes one wonder if this could be the true reason behind Cornelia's dwindling popularity.
